Teknion, a global leader in workplace furniture and design, is pleased to announce Magnus Aspegren as Chief Creative Officer, effective August 5, 2025. Magnus will join the company’s Executive Committee and report directly to President & CEO, David Feldberg. He will be based in Toronto at Teknion’s headquarters.
Originally from Sweden, Magnus brings over two decades of global experience in design and innovation. He has led transformative initiatives across North America, Europe, and Asia in a career that spans sectors including architecture, consumer products, hospitality, textiles, and furniture. Known for his combination of creative leadership and strategic vision, Magnus has a deep passion for design in all its forms and a keen interest in how innovation can positively impact daily life. He believes in the power of curiosity and finding inspiration across all industries and geographies.

Before joining Teknion, Magnus served as Chief Innovation Officer at Stokke, where he developed the company’s global product strategy, founded an innovation hub in Amsterdam, and launched internationally successful collaborations. Prior to Stokke, he spent over a decade at BMW Group, leading design programs for BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce across studios in Los Angeles, Singapore, and Shanghai, while working with global partners such as Embraer, Singapore Airlines, Lenovo, and Samsung. Previously, Magnus held senior roles at Bang & Olufsen, Marriott International, Teague, AaBe Textiles, and completed award-winning design work at NBBJ Architects.
