Teknion Corporation today announced that, following the earlier announcement of its alliance with Gus* Design Group, it is displaying several Gus* Modern pieces in its tenth-floor showroom (#1048) during NeoCon. Gus* Design Group is a Toronto-based designer and maker of Gus* Modern contemporary residential furnishings suited to contract settings.
Gus* Modern rocking chairs, sofas, chairs and tables fuse traditional and contemporary within a modern office environment. GT Rocker – the modern rocking chair – features a powder-coated frame with architecturally styled cushions inspired by airport lounge seating and ’70s car interiors. Halifax is a contemporary accent chair with a laid-back, industrial feel. The Metric Coffee Table is a minimalist, geometric accent. The hexagonal top features a beveled edge and is designed to nest with the Metric End Table.
The Elk Chair evokes the classic, wingback chair design and updates it with contemporary materials and bold, organic lines. The Tobias Coffee Table is a minimalist, geometric accent piece well suited for modern spaces. Traditional and contemporary sensibilities are fused in the Carmichael Chair, bringing clean lines to a classic style. It features a tightly upholstered back, and solid wood legs. The Mix Modular Collection lets you mix and match components and fabrics to build a custom sectional, sofa or chaise to perfectly suit your space. The Array Coffee Table features an elegant, geometric base that repeats around a central axis to create a contemporary accent design.
